Objective:
The goal of this project was to reduce the cost of ship design and construction by developing a single integrated software application to track all product submissions (e.g., drawings, calculations, reports), along with feedback from all stakeholders in the product approval process.
The project team developed the COMPASS software application, conducted pilot testing, and prepared a user guide for its use.
