Major Initiative Team Leads: Nominated from NSRP member yards; provide technical oversight on projects aligned with Major Initiative. For each Major Initiative, each has been nominated by their shipyard ECB Member and approved by the entire ECB membership. The ECB may also at time approve assignments of one or more MITLS-at-Large, who perform the same functions as the other MITLs, but aren’t aligned with a specific Major Initiative. All the MITLs, Assistant MITLs and MITLs-at-Large are referred to simply as “MITLs,” and are employed in essentially the same manner in executing program functions.
Provide demonstrated expertise in the assigned technical area, synthesize industry input to develop Research Announcements, provide technical oversight for both panel and Research Announcement projects, track project execution and provide input to the ECB during discussions about the NSRP’s goals and direction.
