Objective:

This project successfully modified COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) technology to output QA data in accordance with the requirements of Naval Sea Systems Command Standard Item 009-32. Key aspects of the final production application included:

a. Electronic generation of eight appendices required by NSI 009-32
b. PDF generation for an appendix only if data had been entered into that report’s section
c. Auto-fill fields after a tap based on what was entered in that field previously
d. Pre-populate a field, regardless of tap, based on what was entered previously
e. Improved “Add from Device” workflow for over-the-air import of data from the DeFelsko Positector WiFi gage
