Objective:
The goal of this project was to identify where opportunities existed to reduce the number of variants and push commonality into ship designs, similar to what is done in the commercial sector. This was done through researching products, investigating opportunities for cross application fit, determining consolidation opportunities, and testing those components that are not currently designed to specific shock and vibration requirements.
