Objective:
This project identified and evaluated various quick connector technologies and their capabilities to interface across ranges of interface types, withstand environmental testing, and that may prove capable of serving high demand applications. A fairly wide range of connector types, from splicing connectors to large stud connectors, were selected for detailed evaluation. From a technical standpoint, it appears there are several products that are ready to be implemented with minimal reevaluation and re-design.
