Objective:
To better enable product model data to be exchanged, this project facilitated resolution of technical issues and subsequently developed and published amendment documents for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards in Ship Molded Forms, Ship Arrangement and Plant Spatial Configuration. The STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product model data) series of standards, published as part of the ISO 10303 (STEP) and ISO 13584 (Part Libraries) standards, provides data model content and exchange methods for a broad range of industrial data. This project produced the ISO documentation to incorporate technical modifications of the standards into the International Standards.
