Objective:
This project will develop a workflow to reuse digital data in the 3D detail design model to support the label plate effort. No longer will the label plate effort be an afterthought, it will become a parallel task during the detail design effort including subsequent design changes regardless of CL I or CL II. The workflow will allow the transmittal of label plate digital data to label plate suppliers and provide real time access of label plate information to other departments within the shipyard.
