Objective:

This project sought to document those requirements necessary to move shipbuilding technology from a Product Centric (2D hard copy drawing) to a Data Centric (3D product model, drawingless) environment. The product model will be used for ship arrangement configuration management and product deliverable executing. These deliverables will be used to replace drawings with geometry and data for arrangements (Engineering) and manufacturing work packages (Planning and Construction).
