Objective:

The goal of this project was to primarily determine if the use of LTT wires can reduce the amount of plate distortion compared to the amount of distortion created by using standard filler metals. A secondary goal was to determine if the mechanical properties are acceptable per NAVSEA Technical Publication S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248.
