DESCRIPTION:The Surface Preparation & Coatings Panel will be having our fall meeting on September 10-11 in Bozeman\, MT with a tour of GMA’s garnet mine in Alder\, MT. \nAccess to the mine tour is space limited\, and access will be granted upon review due to GMA competition sensitivity. \nThe tour will last 2-3 hours with a mile of walking and several stairs\, so take this into consideration if you have health concerns.  Tour attendees will need to bring their own PPE (hard hat\, steel toe shoes\, safety glasses\, long pants and sleeves).  There will be no food provided on the day of the tour\, and time for lunch may be later than usual (see agenda)\, so plan accordingly if you have blood sugar considerations. *Tour is now waitlist only due to capacity.* \nThe meeting agenda has availability for a few presentations from industry.  We are looking for topics related to surface preparation\, raw materials\, and supply chain\, but would consider other interesting subjects.  If you have interest in giving a presentation\, feel free to send me an email (see below). \nPlease use the following link to register for the meeting either for in-person or virtually here. \nFull Link: https://atisc.formstack.com/forms/nsrp_surface_preparation_coatings_panel_meeting \nRoom Block – Cut off date – 17 August \nDraft Agenda
