Sustainment Working Group Meeting at ASNE FMMS 2021 (Pacific Standard Time)
October 19 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
The National Shipbuilding Research Program NSRP, a unique collaboration among 11 U. S. member shipyards with the U. S. Navy, is standing up a new Panel on sustainment issues for military and commercial vessels and their potential research and development solutions. In advance of formally standing up this panel, NSRP will hold a “Sustainment Working Group” in conjunction with the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) Fleet Maintenance and Modernization Symposium (FMMS) 17-19 October in San Diego ASNE FMMS 2021.
The Sustainment Working Group meeting will be held Tuesday, 19 October from 1:30 to 2:30 Pacific Standard Time. Full conference participation recommended. If attending this meeting only, register with ASNE for Expo Hall Only. Both In-Person and Virtual Participation via Zoom for Gov are options. Register for the working group at the following link: http://surveys.ati.org/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=l2KIl961.
Please join us to give your opinions and help NSRP successfully stand up this Sustainment panel to the benefit of both the shipbuilding and ship repair industry AND government and commercial ship owner/operators. If you cannot join us for the meeting, we would still appreciate your participation in the Sustainment Working Group Survey. Your feedback will help facilitate transitioning the Working Group into a focused Panel. The survey can be accessed at the following link: http://surveys.ati.org/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=72KIlo3K. The survey will need to be completed NLT 12 October to ensure all responses are incorporated into the meeting discussion.
Those interested in becoming a participant and/or a member of the future Panel need to subscribe to the Sustainment Working Group email list to receive future communications including meeting information and other collaborative opportunities. Subscribe by emailing NSRP@ATI.org.
