Objective:
The goal of this project was to compile application and performance data on the various alternatives that have been used for corrosion control of inaccessible void spaces. Based on this data a guide document for shipbuilders was developed. The guide document contains logic for selecting appropriate alternative treatment methods and lessons learned on other programs. Finally, the project made recommendations for the Navy to consider in their requirements documents.
