Reseach Announcement 08-01 Released
On October 12, 2009, the National Shipbuilding Research Program published Research Announcement (RA) 08-01. The RA is also published on www.fbo.gov. The RA and related documents are posted below.

Mandatory Abstract
A mandatory abstract must be submitted prior to submitting a proposal. Abstracts are intended to provide intermediate feedback as to whether the proposer is on track in gathering and articulating some of the key information required for a successful project and whether that project would be appropriate for shared funding from ASE. For abstract requirements, please see pg. 55 of the Proposal Preparation Kit.

  Mandatory abstracts must be submitted through the NSRP Website no later November 12, 2009.

Proposal Sumittal Guidelines
Technical and cost proposals, submitted in separate volumes, are required and shall be valid for 180 days. The proposal format provided in the program Proposal Preparation Kit is mandatory.

• TECHNICAL & COST PROPOSALS DUE ON Friday, February 12, 2010 12:00PM, Eastern Standard Time
  Both technical and cost proposal must be submitted to:
  NSRP ASE Program Administrator, ATI, 5300 International Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29418, Attn: Ms. Melissa Ingram, ATI Contracts Department.

Additional Information:
The NSRP ASE Program will host an online Proposer's Conference on October 27, 2009 from 2:00PM - 5:00PM Eastern Time using GoToMeeting®, to provide an overview of the program, explain the process, and answer general questions. If you plan to attend the Proposer's Conference, please register using the provided link. Registration is mandatory.
