Ship Production Panel Projects
The Executive Control Board typically sets aside a modest amount of money each year to fund relatively small (less than $100K), short-term (12 months or less) projects recommended by the Panel Chairs. Once a solicitation is issued, Panel Project proposals are submitted to the Panel Chairs in the form of short white papers; the Panels then vote on which one(s) (up to three) to submit for consideration by the ECB. Submissions from all the Panels are then put through a competitive selection process in which the ECB selects a Panel Project portfolio for that year. Guidelines on the process and white paper format are provided in the Ship Production Panel Project Guide. For information on contracting requirements for approved projects click here.
For status of current or upcoming Panel Project solicitations, the appropriate Panel Chairs. For additional information on projects click on the Panel name.
