Jack Shea – Panel Chair for the Facilities, Tooling and Risk Management Major Initiative team - is Chief of Government Relations at Electric Boat Corporation.  Shea is actively involved in government affairs and business legislation at both the state and federal levels.  He is Chairman of the Connecticut Business & Industry Associations' (CBIA) Workers' Compensation Council and is a registered lobbyist for Electric Boat at the Connecticut General Assembly.  During his 25 year career at EB, he has lectured at various seminars and workshops on employer's involvement in controlling costs through effective prevention and intervention techniques.  Shea received his bachelor's degree from the University of New England and a masters degree in Human Resource Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
