James Turner – the Major Initiative Assistant Team Leader for the Business Process Technologies team – is responsible for Inventory Control, Purchasing, Preferred Vendor Contract Agreements, ISO/Quality Management Systems Procedure writer, is the strategic sourcing team leader for selected commodities, and is the administrator for VT Halter's Fixed Asset Management. Mr. Turner is also Foreign Trade Manager for U.S. Customs material entries into VT Halter's Foreign Trade Zone. He is responsible for generating government material tracking for all contracts, and led production control for the first Navy contract at Moss Point Marine for all equipment required for construction of the two U.S. Navy Landing Craft Utility Vessels. Turner graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with his Bachelors in Business Administration.
